This is Thunder Peak Pagoda (Leifeng or Lei Feng Pagoda), on the east shore of West Lake, where Lady White was imprisoned by Fahai. Actually, this is a 2002 reconstruction, built as a replica of the original, which collapsed in 1924 and had been a ruin for centuries earlier. It is octagonal and five stories, with a terrace at each level. Reconstruction was delayed when a secret chamber was discovered beneath the ruins. Was that the home of Lady White for all those centuries?
