Here’s the building where Anne and I live. That’s my apartment at bottom right. It’s a two-bedroom—my first one ever, so now I don’t have to sleep in my office or living room! Anne lives in another apartment in the same building. Even though we’re married and love each other very much, we both like privacy and separate space, so we live near each other instead of together. It works! The building is close to downtown, so we can walk or ride a bike to many places when we don’t want to drive.
